eConnect introduces line recognition

In July 2024, eConnect's RAAS functionality (Recognition as a Service) will be expanded with line recognition. Line recognition is the breakdown of lines on a PDF invoice into transaction lines.

You will always receive a recognized invoice; we make it the best possible version. Sometimes an invoice may fail, or the system may be uncertain about the recognition. In such cases, we validate the recognition to ensure quality is maintained. We do this for every invoice.

line recognition is standard with professional

With professional recognition, you can enable line recognition at no extra cost. So, upgrade your invoice recognition to the Professional version and add the line recognition option. In the professional version, in addition to line recognition, order/contract/project references are also recognized, G-account and IBAN details are further validated, and the Belgian payment ID is added.

No Lines No Pay Guarantee

Our "No Lines No Pay" guarantee ensures that you only pay for the lines we can specify with certainty. If we can't? Then you receive a validated invoice with lines per VAT basis. No specified lines? No extra costs!

Which fields do we recognize?

The main fields are the description, price, quantity, and line amount. Then, there are reference fields that are also recognized.
