Procurement service bus

The Procurement Service Bus (PSB) is a reliable, scalable interface with a simple API. The PSB can be white-labeled integrated. E-invoicing has never been easier and more accessible. The PSB from eConnect is the best choice for software packages and corporates!

Advantages of the procurement service bus (psb)

all known e-invoicing networks

In addition to standard Peppol, you also have direct access to other e-invoicing networks, such as Ariba, Tungsten, Coupa, and Tradeshift.

automatic xml transformation

Does the customer want a different format or version than you can send? The PSB automatically recognises which transformation is needed to deliver the document.

Proactive route detection by Peppol-ID

E-invoicing without manual setup. We actively check for the existence of the recipient's Peppol-ID.

retry mechanism

If your network is down for a while, all messages will still be delivered as soon as it is back online thanks to our retry mechanism. And when recipients' Access Points are temporarily unavailable, eConnect will continue to offer the invoice for 48 hours.

REST-API and native push

The PSB is based on REST API Webservices with OAUTH2 security. The statuses and delivery of documents are passed on to the customer's endpoint via push messages.

e-return

With e-return messages, you as the sender automatically receive a notification of a changed invoice status from the recipient of the invoice.

What do our users say?

❝ Through the integration of all messages (including packing slips, orders, and invoices) around the purchase of goods or services exchanged between different networks and standards, we now really have a grip on the entire procurement process from purchase to pay (P2P)❞

Procurement service bus - how does it work?

If you need high-volume processing, eConnect's PSB is the solution! Batch processing is avoided by the traceability of each document, and each document can be tracked in real-time. The volume is distributed over at least (in the minimum configuration) five Access Points via reliable queues and dynamically distributed from the PSB. The infrastructure can scale at any time without being noticeable in the service. This means a fully automatic and guaranteed delivery, even at high volumes!

Peppol access point
You need a Peppol Access Point for the connection to the Peppol network. Such a connection is provided by a Billing Service Provider (BSP) like eConnect. This is best compared to a telephone provider. If you want to call or use the internet on your phone, you need access to the telecom network. For that connection, you need to go to a telecom provider like KPN or T-Mobile. This is how e-invoicing works on the Peppol network. Every eConnect customer has standard access to the Peppol network.

The most important thing when sending an invoice is that it is paid quickly and without errors. #PeppolFirst means that we automatically check if each customer has a connection to Peppol (with a Peppol ID). If so, the invoice is also sent via Peppol. Our software does everything automatically, so you don’t have to worry about it.
