eConnect is DICO certified

eConnect is DICO certified. This means that we meet the strict requirements for the secure exchange of DICO messages. Thanks to standardized DICO messages, companies can maintain even better control over their transactions. The more companies use this standard, the more efficiently and securely they can collaborate throughout the entire construction chain – from quotation to order, order confirmation, delivery and invoicing.

Every day, the DICO standard is used more than a million times to exchange information. To further improve the quality of this digital information exchange, Ketenstandard has developed a certificate for DICO messages together with its partners. This certificate confirms compliance with the DICO standard in accordance with the requirements set by Chain Standard.

Participation in the Chain Standard Conference

Obtaining the certificate and the recent partnership with VanMeijel Automatisering was a great opportunity to participate in the Chain Standards Congress, which took place last month. This conference is the event where the entire construction and technology sector gathers to discuss the current political climate and the social themes that influence the sector. This year the day took place in Hart van Holland in Nijkerk. Spread over different rooms, attendees were able to attend various sessions in the field of digitalization in construction and technology.

Digital invoicing & e-invoicing

eConnect and VanMeijel Automatisering also gave a joint session this day for a full room of attendees. Marcel van Wensem, Sales & Marketing Director at eConnect, and Arnold Ruisch, Account Manager at VanMeijel, told more about the possibilities of digital invoicing and e-invoicing within the VanMeijel (Metacom) software package in an inspiring meeting. At the end of the afternoon there was room for a talk show, in which presenter Hélène Hendriks talked to influential people from the sector. Discussions included the role of digitalization in sustainability, circularity and housing construction.

##Partnership The partnership with VanMeijel shows that industry or format is no longer an issue. Thanks to the integration with eConnect, organizations can use both DICO and Peppol. In short, customers no longer have to worry about the different standards or networks.
