CEF - Multiple Access to eDelivery (MADE)
Multiple Access to eDelivery (MADE)
This CEF eDelivery building block supports public administrations to exchange electronic data and documents with other public administrations, businesses and citizens. This exchange is in an interoperable, secure, reliable and trusted way. The main objective of the Action 2016-EU-IA-0063 is to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) among both private and public entities. This will be done by implementing six new Access Points, integrating the AS4 protocol, and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP).
The (CEF) MADE project
This project is supported by the European Union through the „Connecting Europe Facility“ (CEF) program. The objective is to make the electronic registered delivery service 'qualified', in compliance with the requirements set in the eIDAS Regulation (Regulation EU 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services).
eConnect International (eConnect) and AS4 development
eConnect International B.V is part of the MADE consortium specialized in Integration Brokerage. We are among the first European entities to develop and test our own AS4 access point according to the EU Core Service Platform. This will ensure that when AS4 becomes mandatory for PEPPOL in 2019, the functionality will be safe and stable. The use of the AS4 access point is based on the Four Corner Model and the growth of the PEPPOL network. To comply with PEPPOL regulations, supporting the AS4 protocol will become mandatory for use of the PEPPOL network. https://ec.europa.eu/cefdigital/wiki/display/CEFDIGITAL/eDelivery
