The United Arab Emirates is introducing mandatory e-invoicing via the Peppol 5-corner model (DCTCE) from mid-2026, using the PINT AE format. All businesses must use an accredited Peppol Access Point.
Discuss your UAE requirements
The UAE uses the Peppol 5-corner model (DCTCE) with real-time tax reporting to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). All participating businesses must use accredited Peppol Access Points.
The Peppol International (PINT) AE profile is the mandatory format for UAE e-invoicing, a localised extension of the global PINT standard.
Mandatory from mid-2026, rolled out in phases. B2C invoices are initially excluded. All Access Points are required to offer a free basic product.
eConnect can act as your Peppol Access Point for UAE transactions, for UAE export (reporting only), UAE import and fully UAE-bound flows. PINT AE support on the eConnect PSB is on the roadmap; PINT AE lookups are not executed yet. Today the PSB supports PINT Singapore as the production-ready PINT variant.
