eConnect new supplier of Central Government Access Point on Peppol

eConnect International BV is the new supplier for the Dutch Government Access Point on Peppol. The formal awarding of the Peppol-Digipoort tender took place on June 7. This marks a new collaboration with Logius in the field of e-invoicing.

Further digitalisation thanks to Peppol

The Dutch Government is opting for further digitalisation of the procurement domain using the Peppol network. The Peppol network is an international open network for governments and businesses to exchange e-Procurement messages such as e-orders and e-invoices. The government is joining the Peppol network to make the exchange of e-Procurement messages as accessible as possible, using common market standards and networks. With the new Dutch Government Access Point on Peppol, the government can also deliver e-orders and e-invoices.

Digipoort via Dutch Government Access Point on Peppol

Digipoort is a central facility of the Dutch Government for the safe and reliable delivery and transmission of messages. All government services and various other public entities are connected to Digipoort with their financial and procurement administrations and can exchange e-Procurement messages through this central facility. Logius manages Digipoort.
